Scottsdale Community College - Language + Communication

35,000 square foot building that includes department and faculty offices, lecture halls, classrooms, and a computer common area. This project is organized around an exterior center courtyard. The courtyard is punctuated by perforated metal canopies, coupled with veiled light wells. These provide a protected and visually dynamic gathering and studying space, as well as serving as the primary circulation and entry for the building.
